Meeting the staff

In an emergency you can have immediate access to the Headteacher or the class teacher.

Otherwise appointments may be made within 24 hours.

Parents/guardians are encouraged to meet the staff to discuss their child’s progress and specific consultation meetings take place as follows:

Autumn: Meeting between parents and teacher to discuss how well children have settled in a new class or year group and the expectations for the year.

Spring: Meeting between parents and teacher to discuss progress since September.

Summer: Open Evening - view the school and have the opportunity to visit your child's teacher and their teacher for September.

If a child experiences difficulties at school we will have early consultations with parents/guardians and may contact you to arrange a meeting. From time to time we may feel the need to consult with outside agencies about a child's progress but this will only be done after consultation with the parents/guardians.
