Reception

Welcome to Reception Class’ Page!

Here we start our school journey. In Reception we love to explore, be creative and begin our love of learning inside and outside of the classroom. Our carefully designed indoor and outdoor play environments provide endless opportunities for children to use their imaginations, experiment with ideas, and work together. Whether it's building with bricks, role-playing in our home corner, or exploring nature in our outdoor space, in every area there is a chance to learn.

We believe play is the foundation of learning. Through play, children develop key skills in a fun and engaging way, helping them to explore the world around them, solve problems, and build confidence.

We offer children lots of opportunities outside of the classroom too. We go on school trips to bring our learning inside the classroom to life. We also like to take the children on local walks to explore their surroundings.

We always strive to have as much fun in Reception as possible!
