Yellow Class -Year 1

Welcome to Yellow Class!

Our class is a team who encourage each other and work together to learn and flourish.

In the Autumn term, we have indoor and outdoor continuous provision to support the transition from Early Years to KS1, where we work on becoming more independent learners.

We learn about a range of cross-curricular topics which we explore creatively including:

What inspires you as an artist?

How did The Great Fire change London?

How can we classify animals?

Why should we make healthy food choices?

What is the United Kingdom?

We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to go on a range of trips including visits to a care home, Pantomime, local Fire Station, Woburn Safari Park and Oundle Market.

We love welcoming our families into school to share in our learning and have lots of opportunities to do this, including a class assembly and sharing afternoon, as well as many whole school events.
